About
Our Story
The journey of The Healthier Way, owned by Tim and Myrna Schoeff in Huntington, Indiana, commenced in 1979, driven by a heartfelt desire to assist others in achieving better health. Inspired by their own transformative experiences with nutritional counseling, herbal remedies, vitamins, and healthier dietary choices, Tim and Myrna embarked on a mission to empower others toward wellness.
Initially operating from the comfort of their home for the first four years, utilizing a spare room converted to office space, the business thrived, prompting the transformation of a single-car garage on their property into their dedicated business location.
Tim is a certified natural health practitioner with advanced training as a Loomis Digestive Health and Biofeedback Specialist. His training includes Iridology, Western Herbology, Body Systems, Nutrition, Bach Flower Essence, Muscle Testing, and other modalities.
The Healthier Way offers a comprehensive range of tailored nutritional services and products, designed to address individual needs with precision and care.
Today, The Healthier Way continues to educate and support many of the same people, and new individuals every week, all from the same location! Clients become like family members, and each one is treated with special care.

About Us
Tim Schoeff
Tim is a Certified Natural Health Practitioner (CNHP) and a Loomis Digestive Health Specialist (LDHS). He has a passion for helping people with nutrition to live life the best they can. Tim is the one that will help you reach your goals to better health.
Tim grew up being sick and knows firsthand the struggles that go along with it. He carried that into his adult life and knew he needed to get healthy. Exercising alone was not helping so as a Christian he prayed for God’s direction and was led to meeting Solomon Wickey, who was an Amish nutritionist specializing in vitamins, herbs, and iridology. Tim’s health began changing for the better over time.
After Tim’s health started to improve, he felt the Lord leading him again to help others through nutrition and that’s when he started studying with Solomon’s help. He learned about Iridology, muscle testing, and the use of herbs and vitamins.
Over the past 45 years, Tim has taken numerous classes and training sessions to become a CNHP, LDHS, and a Biofeedback Specialist. Those classes and training include Iridology, Western Herbology, body systems, nutrition, Bach Flower Essence, Muscle testing, and other modalities.
Tim has been married to Myrna for over 45 years and they have one married daughter that they are very proud of and 2 wonderful grandchildren that live close enough for day trips to enjoy time together. They also have one dog, a Bishon Frise, that is Tim’s best friend.
